Subject: Shackleton

The first part of "Shackleton," the story of Ernest Shackleton's
ill-fated expedition to the South Pole in 1914, appeared on A&E on
Sunday and Monday (7,8 April), starting at 8 pm. The main character is
played by Kenneth Branagh, who acts the part as if he were doing Henry V
over again.

I mean this as no dispraise. The story is gripping and, from my point of
view, extremely well told.
