Subject: Lancastrian Film
Dear SHAKSPERians
Does anyone know what's happened to the plan to make a a film
'Shakespeare in Lancashire' (or similar line)? The last thing I heard
was that screenwriters were already working on it, but it was a couple
of years ago (either 1999 or 2000). Is the plan still on? Any
information/update is appreciated. Thanks in advance :-)
Best wishes,
Takashi Kozuka
PS: I have no intention to discuss the Lancastrian theory/controversy
itself. If anyone wants to do it, I would strongly suggest that he or
she should wait until the spring issue of the SQ (not GQ) comes out.
