If I were any of you, I would NOT blame myself, just yet.

I am _not_ a tech-kie, so I have ONE do all my PC work, and answer my
questions about hardware and software.

I have learned that my CLICKABLES sent to AOL friends do NOT work unless
I send them as HREFs. More anon, if asked.

I use Netscape as a browser. When I go to MSN, the windows lock up, and
I have READ that the European Union has a lawsuit with MSN over their
websites allegedly not allowing easy access to Netscape, supposedly the
flaw an intentional block in the software. Apparently, AOL and MSN are
still NOT user-friendly with each other, just yet.

So, it is possible that it might be a browser problem, or software
problem. Then, too, some SETTINGS in one's browser might preclude one
from going to certain sites, inasmuch as the settings might be
restricting sites with certain material, and when there is doubt,
certain ISPs do NOT open those sites. Not that I understand any of this
as a tech-kie other than pragmatically as a PC user.

Subject: Message to AT&T Internet Users

Several SHAKSPERians have reported that they are unable to view our
website while connected to the internet via the AT&T service provider.
(this includes attbi, worldnet, and perhaps other networks). I have
contacted the appropriate AT&T office, and was asked to provide the
names/IP addresses of the DNS (Domain Name System) servers used by those
users experiencing problems.

If you use AT&T internet service, and cannot view
<http://www.shaksper.net> from your web browser, then please send me the
DNS servers that you are using. Finding this information varies from
computer to computer, so if you need help, please let me know which
Operating System you use. Responses should be sent directly to

I would also like to know if there are any AT&T users who *are able* to
view the SHAKSPER website.

Thanks in advance,
Eric Luhrs
