Subject: Shakespeare Translations

Hi,

I'm posing this as list question and as an informational request. Does
anyone know of any reference titles concerning translations of
Shakespeare's works in foreign languages? I am looking particularly for
copies of Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth in Italian. Responses
can be sent to me off list, however, as a discussion topic I was curious
to know if there are any set standards when it comes to translating?
Are the passages matched word for word so you can get the gist of what's
being said? In the case of blank verse, does the translator try to keep
the pace of the pentameter and chooses words accordingly?

Thanks in advance,
Jon
