Subject: Hollywood Review Inaudibles
The 1929 anthology film *Hollywood Review* has a comic scene derived
from the so-called *balcony* scene in Romeo and Juliet. There are two
places where I find John Gilbert inaudible, and would appreciate help
understanding him.
1) Romeo: Well then, let's get organized. Now I've got the old
boulevard (inaudible) out here all gassed up. The shoulder's nice and
smooth. What do you say to a little ride and such?
2) What is Romeo's final line, the pig-Latin?
Yes, I'm multi-tasking, so thanks,
Mike Jensen
