Subject: New Yorker Article on New Arden Hamlet
Last week's New Yorker had an article by Ron Rosenbaum about
"revisionist" bibliography and the upcoming New Arden _Hamlet_,
specifically, editor Ann Thompson's rejection of a diplomatic text in
favor of printing Q2 in one volume and F/Q1 in another. The late Harold
Jenkins was interviewed as well. Not surprisingly, he disapproved.
Probably not news to anyone here, but interesting for a mainstream
publication to take such notice of Shakespearean textual studies.
