Subject: New Yorker Article on Hamlet Texts
The author Ron Rosenbaum phoned me last week to say that he's working on
a book expanding on that New Yorker piece on the Hamlet texts. I'm
thrilled. I think he gets the players very neatly, Harold Jenkins with
great respect and humor, and the various living contenders also. It's
nice to read about academic debate without the acid-reflux found
flavoring so much of it.
Joys of semester-ends,
