Subject: Aristotle's Poetics Read By Shakespeare?
What is the likelihood that Aristotle's Poetics was read by
Shakespeare? As of what approximate year would a Latin translation of
it have been readily available in England. As of what approximate year
would an English version have been available? As of Shakespeare's
school years, would Aristotle's Poetics have been taught below the
University level of education?
Aloha,
Dave Johnson
