The question of the Hamlet texts in the Arden edition was raised on the
BBC Radio 4 Today Programme this morning (27 May 2002). Ann Thompson
and Stanley Wells were interviewed and discussed the question. Ann
Thompson revealed that the main Arden volume (which would be the Arden
Hamlet) would be the Q2 text. This surprised Stanley Wells (and cheered
him, as he felt it would increase sales for the Oxford edition of F!).
The second volume which would "be for scholars" might not be a separate
volume "it might be a CD-ROM". The whole clip can be heard for a
limited period at:

(Real Player required) After a day or so, it will disappear into the
archive at that location: "Hamlet" or "Arden" as keywords should
retrieve it.
