How clever of Milton to construct a scenario for The Fall in which the
man gets to remain heroic, noble and self-sacrificing, and the woman
gets to have the WHOLE thing written up as her fault.

Video Team to Adapt Shakespeare Play with Hotel O

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Hotel O, a tongue-in-cheek take on Shakespeare's
Othello, is set to start production on May 28. The video will feature
performers Nina Hartley and Lexington Steele in their first on-screen
pairing.

Steele, AVN 's two-time Male Performer of the Year, told AVN .com that
he is looking forward to working with AVN Hall of Famer Hartley, who has
been a favorite of his for years. "It's our first time working with AVN
Hall of Fame director Roy Karch, which I'm very excited about," Video
Team owner Christian Mann told AVN .com. "I think that this story lends
itself well to my company because we're so well known for our
interracial and ethnic products. If you remember, it was my company
produced that West Side last year. The film was an AVN nominee and it
was based on Romeo and Juliet."

"As far as acting's concerned, we have some good people who are
accomplished in both the drama and the sex departments. If you can find
a Lexington Steele or a Nina Hartley who can turn in a scorching sex
scene and who can deliver a fine acting performance, then you've got it
made," Mann said. "I had strong reservations about some the dialogue at
first, but my desire to work with Nina superceded all of my initial
reservations about the project," Steele said about the upcoming
production. "I'm looking forward to doing the film and I think it will
go well," Hartley said.

Hotel O's screenplay was penned by University of Massachusetts Amherst
English professor Richard Burt with Karch. Burt previously had seen some
Karch's work and assisted with casting the film also.

This video also marks the first time Karch has shot for Video Team. "The
good thing is that we assembled some best talent in the business for
this one and [adult video music producer] Spermhead composed the
original theme for this project," Karch said.

Hotel O is slated to be in stores at the beginning of August.
