Subject:        IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM EDITOR, Regarding Online Materials

Dear SHAKSPEReans,

I have been concerned about the proliferation of postings that simply
cut and paste online articles and reviews and forward them directly to
the list.

The information in these articles is useful and informative, but please
avoid the temptation of simply cutting and pasting the ENTIRE piece.

I would prefer NOT to post complete articles or reviews from Internet
sources. Instead, the poster should judiciously quote and summarize and
then provide the URL. In this regard, Nancy Carlton's post of today
serves as a model.
