Subject: Virus/Worm/Trojan Horse WARNING

Dear SHAKSPEReans,

For the past few days, the SHAKSPER listserv has been receiving some
unusual messages that appear to be generated from some members or former
members of the list. These messages that are sent to SHAKSPER appear to
be infected with a virus/worm/Trojan horse. For the reasons, I will
explain below, I am 99.9% sure that listserv is not mailing a
virus/worm/Trojan horse to any members. Listserv does receive some
infected messages in response to which it generates a form letter that
your posting has arrived and mails this acknowledgement back to you; the
acknowledgement is, however, virus free. When I received an infected
file from a member, that member may not have even generated it or may be
infected by the virus itself. The infection could be such that it takes
over someone
