Professor Velz,

Thanks for the response, but I'm more interested in finding evidence
throughout the canon that Sh might have known Peter of Ravenna's Phoenix
than I am in an examination of Sh's PhT. P of R's Phoenix was a self
help manual for building memory, an art useful to thespians, and I am
interested in studies that might notice evidence of Sh's familiarity
with this work in the plays. I am working out of Frances Yates's Art of
Memory (for those who might direct me thither).
