Sad news. The former guides did a great job, and I wonder whether
members of the Shakespeare Institute (whatever their academic degree)
will be able to replace them adequately. (Maybe in English, but what
about other languages???)

On the other hand, this is the only kind of job suitable for an academic
on the dole.

Let's see, whether the new guides can give people from Bangladesh, Iraq,
or Eastern Germany a laugh.
