Seconded! I just got back from there. My strongest recommendation is for
the Cinema Bookshop (so-called not because it only has books about the
cinema but because it's located in a converted cinema)--one of the best
selections of Shakespeare and other literary criticism I've ever seen in
a second hand bookstore.

BTW, I stayed at a bed & breakfast called LaFosse and enjoyed it very
much, including the rubber ducks provided for the bathtub. And even
though the restaurant at Ye Olde Black Lion Inn is evidently run by
Basil Fawlty, the Nouvelle British cooking is excellent.
