Subject: Rescripting Shakespeare
Alan Dessen's new book *Rescripting Shakespeare: The Text, the Director,
and Modern Productions* is now available from Cambridge University
The reason I mention this is that several weeks ago some of you wondered
just how the first tetralogy was adapted when turned into three parts.
That is the subject of chapter seven, and Alan did a very fine job. It
makes fascinating reading.
All the best,
