Call for Papers
The School of English and American Studies (SEAS) at Lorand Eotvos
University (ELTE), Budapest is happy to announce an international
" Shakespeare and Philosophy in a Multicultural World"
to be held between 17 and 20 March (Wednesday to Saturday), 2004 at
Lorand Eotvos University, in Budapest, Hungary.
Keynote address will be given by
Professor Emeritus Stanley Cavell (Harvard University)
Invited speakers include:
Philippa Berry (Cambridge University)
Andrew Bowie (Royal Holloway, University of London)
Silvana Carotenuto (The Institute of the Orientale, Naples)
Simon Critchley (The University of Essex)
Istvan Geher (Lorand Eotvos University, Budapest)
Patricia Parker (Stanford University)
Registrations and abstracts (of between 150-200 words) are expected no
later than 30 September, 2003. The second circular will be sent after
