Coins passim.

To Eastward Ho! in London.

"Wipe thy bum with testons..." (1.1.115) is altered to "sixpence". "Bum"
always raises a titter, of course so there is a confounding variable but
my gin-assisted calculation (made at the interval bar) puts at least
half the audience under thirty years old and the other half closer to
sixty plus. My actuarial brother-in-law tells me that it'll have to be
changed therefore to "two and a half pee" within fifteen years or
"sixpence" will be as much a puzzle as "testons". Perhaps the
juxtaposition of "bum" and "pee" will raise an even bigger titter
though.

Best wishes
Graham Hall
