Subject: Hopewell Shakespeare

Dear fellow SHAKSPEReans.

I beg your indulgence to let those of you who might be interested know
about the imminent publication of my new novel, The Tempestuous Voyage
of Hopewell Shakespeare, which will be released by Hodder Children's
Books (UK) next month. It is based on The Tempest and Twelfth Night
(with dashes of Treasure Island and the medieval story of Perceval!) and
though it is for children (ages 12 and up), would, I think, be of
interest to adults who enjoy Shakespearean entertainments. It will, I
hope, be the first in a series featuring Hopewell and his friends--the
next one to be set around Verona and Venice.

If you'd like to have a look at its cover and blurb, visit Hodder's
website at www.madaboutbooks.co.uk

I'll be in the UK in April, and will be giving a number of talks on the
book and its Shakespearean influences. Those interested could contact me
privately and I will let you know details.

Thank you for your patience,
Sophie Masson
