I really like the new collection put together by Simon Barker and Hilary
Hinds, 'The Routledge Anthology of Renaissance Drama' (London:
Routledge, 2003). The choice of plays is unpredictable and refreshing;
and the supporting chronology, notes, bibliography and contextualising
introduction are all really useful. I am definitely going to use it as
an economical solution for the providing of texts for the teaching of
non-Shakespearean plays to undergraduates.
