Subject: Review of Bollywood / Hollywood

Rachel Dwyer, co author of Cinema India - The Visual Culture of Hindi
Film, has a very acute review of Bollywood / Hollywood in the current
issue of Sight and Sound (Vol. 13, no. 4 / April 2003), p. 34. She
gives the film the excellent thrashing it is so justly deserves.

"Most of the actors are wasted . . . the jokes fall flat . . . the film
is especially disappointing . . . audiences would do better to directly
to Hindi film itself for such pleasures rather than make so with the
second-hand version on offer here."
