Subject: Mixed Omelett
Bill Lloyd says (25 April):
"I once experimented on paper with seeing how few actors I could cast an
essentially uncut Hamlet with."
There was, as I've reported elsewhere, a one man Hamlet given at the
Burton-Taylor in Oxford a couple of years back. It did indeed involve
mirrors and smoke (and glove pupets, and a trapezium pair of fireman's
trousers, Ophelia in the bath on video - but wearing a decorious bathing
suit (boo!) - as well as other accoutrements that I am glad to say now
no longer reside in my frontal lobes)
Best,
Graham Hall
