Subject: Single Volume Editions

SHAKSPERians:

I am anticipating my first full-fledged Shakespeare course in the spring
of 2004. Back in the early 80s when I was an undergraduate student in a
Shakespeare class, we used the third David Bevington edition, the single
volume Shakespeare that I still use to this day. However, with the
number of single-volume editions available, I am wondering what the
preferences are among the listmembers and the reasons for those
preferences. This will help me make my textbook selection when the time
comes.

Cheers,
Jack Heller
