Subject:        Wednesday's Digests

Dear SHAKSPEReans,

For reasons that I have not been able to determine, a default in the
mailer I use for SHAKSPER was changed and all of yesterday's digests
went out with a Chinese character set. As a result, some of you,
depending on the mailer you use, were prompted to download a Chinese
character set or you simply had trouble reading the digests.

I am sorry and I have corrected the problem.

I thank all who called the problem to my attention.
