Now I'm as full-on a Stratfordian as anyone (to the point that I find
that tag absurd), but I fail to see how speculating about Shakespeare's
biography (did he ever travel to Italy?) constitutes
anti-Stratfordianism. Surely John Kennedy would not deny that we really
don't know enough about Shakespeare's life -- that there are very large
gaps -- to _rule out_ that he visited the continent?

I have been asked, why I do not reply to Mr. Kennedy's continuous
personal attacks against me? My response remains the same. I find that
one cannot debate religion, politics or literary criticism with a
beef-head. All one can possibly do is hit them on the snout with a
stick!
Best,
Elliott H. Stone
