I think Jane Leeves might have played the Queen. Homer rear-ends her
coach and they end up in court, with the Queen wearing a jewel-encrusted
neck brace. Homer is found guilty and sent to the Tower, but he escapes
with the help of a secret passageway that Sir Walter Raleigh used.
However, the passageway takes him into the Queen's boudoir just as she's
getting ready for bed. She decides to have mercy on him and pardons
him.

The Simpsons ran into Ian McKellen when they were walking around the
West End. McKellen says hello to them outside the theater where he's
performing in Macbeth, but he refuses to say the name of the play.
Homer says, "Why can't you say Macbeth?", whereupon McKellen gets soaked
when a passing car goes through a puddle. The Simpsons keep saying
"Macbeth", and McKellen keeps getting hit by lightning, bitten by dogs,
etc. As he's escaping into the theater, Homer says, "Good luck!"
McKellen says, "You're not supposed to say that either!" as the marquee
collapses on him.
