Graham Hall quoted Arthur Lindley:

>Arthur Lindley writes (14.1896): "Don't the proprietors refer to it as
>Shakespeare's Globe?"
>
>They do. However the term is neither stable nor agreed universally
>although that may come. Numerous articles - including some in "Around
>the Globe" (the house journal)- use varied terminology.

The term is "stable and agreed universally" by the proprietors, to whom
Arthur Lindley was referring. It is true that the editor of Around the
Globe, the inestimable Nick Robins, does not make his contributors adopt
the proprietorial label. This is a mark of his broadmindedness and
respect for academic freedom.
