With regard to Les Green's' enquiry, I'm not sure of the value, but I
believe the set is 8 volumes, not 7. I have a 'Henry Irving
Shakespeare' in eight volumes, published by Blackie and Sons in 1897,
edited by Irving and Frank A. Marshall, with illustrations by Gordon
Browne.

My sense is that this is not an especially rare edition. I bought a good
condition copy for 45 pounds a couple of years ago, though I have seen
it advertised for more than this. A search on some internet rare books
databases would likely give you a sense of how much copies are currently
going for.
Cheers,
Andrew
