Subject: Stratford Festival 2004
Although the official 2004 slate has not yet been posted on the
Stratford Festival website, CBC ran the following today:
http://www.cbc.ca/artsCanada/stories/04stratford100903
Focus on the Bard at Stratford in 2004
STRATFORD, ONT. - Almost half of the productions presented at the
Stratford Festival next season will be Shakespeare's works, artistic
director Richard Monette announced Wednesday.
"It has been my ambition to produce every play of Shakespeare ... and
this season moves me very close to that goal," Monette said, as he
announced the 2004 lineup.
The festival will reprise recently done plays - like Macbeth and A
Midsummer Night's Dream - and will also do some plays not seen for
years: Henry VIII, Timon of Athens, King John and Cymbeline.

Subject: Stratford season
The Globe and Mail ran a (very) brief article on Stratford, Ontario's,
upcoming season:
http://www.globeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20030910.wstrat/BNStory/Entertainment/
It seems that the artistic director has a long-term goal of producing
all of Shakespeare's plays during his tenure, so this year's season
includes Timon, King John and Henry VIII.
Yours,
Sean.
