Subject: International Shakespeare Association Membership
Further to Catherine Alexander's announcement of the Eighth World
Shakespeare Congress in Brisbane in July 2006, SHAKSPERians might want
to know that the relationship between national associations such as the
Shakespeare Association of America (SAA) and the International
Shakespeare Association (ISA) has changed.
I quote Catherine Alexander in a recent communication: "Membership of a
national association no longer confers membership of ISA".
Those submitting proposals for seminars, workshops, and short paper
sessions need to have current membership of ISA.
