Subject: Trials in Shakespeare

The community theatre I am involved with usually produces a summer
Shakespeare and we often use the occasion to show scenes that otherwise
get an infrequent airing (also doing scenes means more individuals are
involved with less time consumed for each).

This year it has been suggested that a show based around 'trials' in
the works could be an interesting theme.

At first glance I could only think of the obvious scenes (MofV, WT,
HVIII) but I think there are a few other trials (the mock trial in Lear)
as well as various scenes that would fit into the broader idea of people
being tested or tried.

The concept has some merit - I was wondering what list members made of
the idea and what scenes they would include.
