Subject: Poor Yorick Annual Contest
Poor Yorick happily announces it's third (more or less) annual contest,
following on the heels of our wildly successful Titus Limerick contest
and the more cerebral Hamlet Haiku contest.
This year's challenge: to pitch a Shakespeare play (in 100 words or
less) as a major Hollywood film or television show or genre, or
Big prizes this year, including a grand prize of $250 (Canadian), first
and second prizes of $100 and $50 (CDN) respectively, plus special
awards for teachers who submit multiple entries from their students
(prize packages include over $75 of videos and teaching materials).
Contest deadline is November 30, 2003.
