The Thirteenth Annual CSU Shakespeare Symposium

November 14-15, 2003
Reproducing Shakespeare and Early Modern Drama:
Pedagogy, Performance, Media, Criticism and Theory
How do we reproduce Shakespeare and early modern drama in the classroom,
in the theater, or in critical investigation? What are the purposes and
effects of reproductions? Historicist, presentist, formalist,
traditional, and post-modern approaches welcome.
Please send abstracts or papers that discuss any aspect of the
conference theme or other issues in Shakespeare studies by October 1 to:

Submissions are welcomed from CSU and non-CSU faculty and graduate
students.
Some papers will be 15-20 minute presentations and other will be 25-30
minute presentations. Please state which length you would prefer. We may
request alternative presentation times as the schedule is finalized.

details.
