Richard Burt wrote,

>TNT's epic tale begins when
>Caesar is a young man, opposed to the tyrannical dictatorship of Sulla."

- and apparently conducting himself much like a crazed mink.

And Entertainment Weekly's mini-review also said something to the effect
of - and I paraphrase -"dispenses with all of Shakespeare's iambic
pentameter rubbish".

???

But it also reveals that the story of Caesar in the public's mind is
still firmly intertwined with Shakespeare's telling of it, whether they
have read and seen the play or not.
