Ghost lends luster to rest of 'I Hate Hamlet' cast

San Jose Stage Company ventured into the state of Denmark over the
weekend.
The scrappy downtown company closed its 20th-anniversary season with
Paul Rudnick's cheeky valentine to the theater, "I Hate Hamlet," which
runs through June 29. It's a boulevard comedy about the late '80s, a
sort of nouveau Noel Coward farce that invokes the romantic trappings of
the past, from sword fights and men in tights to the ghost of legendary
actor John Barrymore.
