Is anyone familiar with the Richard Eyre production of Merchant with
Henry Goodman either from the NT or the recorded production? I had
wondered whether Shylock spoke Yiddish, and what it was he sang to Jessica.

The recording is on DVD at UK Amazon at:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000BZNJS/qid%3D1076331372/026-822
1815-5850826 but I am not sure it is available in the US.
