Subject: Re: Bear-Baiting
I'm sorry to dig up an old thread, but I thought I should supply
additional information. The January 2004 issue of the Renaissance
Journal (which came out last week) has a short article on animal baiting
in early modern London (pp. 17-26). The Journal includes the author's
e-mail address so that its subscribers may contact him if they wish to.
The January issue is not available online until June (or January 2005?),
but those who enjoyed the bear-baiting thread may want to visit
http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/ren/journal/ to contact the editors.
