Speaking of betting on Hamlet, how about winning when Shakespeare comes
in at 14-to-1 odds?

ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL FOR SHAKESPEARE
Lincolnshire-based Steve Gollings has his string in top form and Royal
Shakespeare's win at Sedgefield yesterday was the trainer's third
success from his last four runners.
He has plenty to look forward to with Royal Shakespeare judged on the
gelding's impressive victory in the first division of the Saltwell Signs
The 14-1 chance was having his first race for 415 days but belied his
absence with a seven-length call over Mobasher, the 5-4 favourite.
The five-year-old was always in the front rank under Robert Thornton
before asserting approaching the final flight where a good jump put the
result beyond doubt.
Gollings said: "We bought him for 52 grand at Doncaster last year and
everything he has done at home has made us think that potentially he is
a very high-class horse. 'He'll come on for today's race, no doubt about
