Terence Hawkes cites 'Shakespeare Can be Fun':

'The sons of the king had no time to grieve
For they were getting ready to leave.
They whispered their plans in secret fear
Worried that someone might overhear."
(Macbeth)

"Meanwhile King Claudius was still uptight.
The cause of Hamlet's madness had not come to light"
(Hamlet)

This brings up a whole new aspect of the "authorship question," as these
would suggest that Clement Clark Moore had written the plays. No, wait.
I remember seeing somewhere that he didn't write "A Visit From St.
Nicholas" at all. This makes the matter still darker and more complex. I
think I'll apply for a grant.
