Subject: A Plaint

I know that SHAKSPERians are on duty 24/7 and alert for the tiniest
error in fact, quotation, attribution, and interpretation. May I
respectfully point out that my last name has only one R. I have often
been called "Margary," which is an actual name, derived from the French,
and in the Army I usually answered either to a roll caller's sudden
hesitation or to his interpretation "Alphabet!" But in fact I was born
without a second R and the name is "Magary." It is some sort of Irish
surname, and is pronounced the same way they pronounce White House Chief
of Staff Leo McGarry's name in "West Wing." (BTW hearing this is a
pleasant ego boost every Wednesday night.)

Cheers,
Al "No Second R" Magary
