You can also order the Shakespeare figure (among others) from
www.archiemcphee.com--a store in Seattle.

>What: no *Ghost*?
He comes dressed as he was in life - no sheets here- and his beaver can
be raised or lowered as necessary. A vial of poison can also be drained
into his ear for the re-enactments of the murder scene. If you place two
AA batteries in his back, he spasms in pain as his blood curdles.

Comment: RE: SHK 15.0122 Shakespop: Shakespeare Action Figure
Enthusiasm has been so great for the Shakespearean action figures that I
wish I still had the sole North American distributorship that I once
possessed. The ones that I dealt were produced by Puppets Dallying Ltd.
back in the 80's. I heard a rumor that they were made by unemployed
English Ph.D.'s working in a sweatshop on a rocky island off the coast
of San Francisco. However, my source for these excellent items, an
ominous individual I knew only as Santiago, refused to comment, and
suggested it might affect my health if I inquired more closely. However,
several of these islands disappeared into a dense frog a few years later
at just the time when I stopped receiving my shipments, so I suspect the
story had some truth.
Incidentally, there was a ghost figure, but it would disappear when the
battery wore down.
Cheers,
don
