Subject: SHAKSPER Website: New Look

Dear SHAKSPEReans,

In late December, I announced that I wanted to replace my picture on the
SHAKSPER homepage with a logo:

I explained that I had a drawing from my daughter Rebecca but invited
members to submit designs for consideration. I got quite a few
responses; all of which I shared with the SHAKSPER Advisory Board. In
addition, SHAKSPER webmaster Eric Luhrs contacted a graphic artist who
submitted about a dozen designs.

In the end, I selected the graphic designer's remake of Rebecca's
original drawing:

The homepage credits now read: "Copyright (c) 2004, Hardy M. Cook,
design by Eric Luhrs. Graphic art by Maggie Amato after a drawing by
Rebecca Cook. All rights reserved."

My thanks to all members who submitted, to Maggie Amato who has been so
helpful, and to Rebecca Cook who began it all.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

Hardy
