Subject: Which Shakespeare Editions Are Considered Definitive?
I am a librarian at a college library where we are updating our
Shakespeare collection. Our goal is to retain or obtain the definitive
edition of each of Shakespeare's works. In order to do this, I am
seeking information on documentation for which editions are considered
definitive. If someone knows of a source such as an article or
reference where this information is, that would be most helpful. If you
prefer, you can email me at:

Thank you very much for your contributions to the achievement of our goal.
Sincerely,
