I came up with these names off the top of my head, as it were. Bardi
was the first thought (for Bard, a relatively neutral symbol for all of
Shakespeare) and then the other just came to me, a cute, cuddly, image
with a sense of family (kin). So if you think of you kitten as part of
the family, then shouldn't you give more weight to my suggested name
then all those other admittedly more clever names suggested? And no
need to shorten-I like Bardikins better than Bardi-but humans ARE in the
habit of shortening (along with affectionately corrupting)
words-taximetre carbriolet --> taxicab --> taxi or cab; the Brooklyn
Dodgers --> Brooklyn; Edward -->Ned; Henry --> Hal-so I figured
shortening would be inevitable were the name adopted.

Stop naming this kitten.
