Equivalent seats for Plummer's Lear (at the same theatre) are being
scalped for at least as much.  The show won't open in previews for
another three weeks and there isn't a centre stalls seat to be had for
the entire run.

Who says there is no market for straight up Shakespeare?

To put this in context though, orchestra seats at the Met were $350 at
the box office the last I looked.
