Subject: Macbush
I wrote The Tragedy of Macbush, which was produced in the Bay Area in
August of 2003. I am looking for other venues, and I am putting Vanity
Fair on notice. Harold Bloom's fame got him into Vanity Fair, and not
his playwriting skills (Edmond Wilson was not the writer Vladimir
Nabokov was; there is after all is said and done a difference between
scholarship and poetry . . .) - the debate over who holds the original
Macbush on display is only beginning . . .
