Subject:        Carnival and The Rover Query

Hello all-

I know that this is slightly off-topic for this list, but I am hoping
that someone out there can help me out.  Or rather, help out a colleague
of mine.  I'm submitting this request on behalf of Susan Johnson-Hood, a
costume designer/fellow student at UMass Amherst, who is currently
writing a paper on Aphra Behn's THE ROVER.  She is looking for any
sources that might discuss carnival (in Europe in general, in Spain
specifically) during the 1640's.  Books, articles, artist's renderings
of what carnival costumes of the period might have looked like, you name
it...she would welcome any resources that could help her.  If you have
