Subject:        Biographical Dictionary of Shakespeare's Chronicle Plays

At the College of Charleston website, in the library's special
collections, I ran across "A Biographical Dictionary of the Historical
Characters in the Chronicle Plays of Shakespeare," by Paul R. Weidner
(typescript, 1952; online in 29 PDF documents).

Like the playwright, Weidner relies on Holinshed but also refers to
Hall, Grafton, Fabyan, Hardyng, and Stow.  At close to 570 pp. it seems
thorough but lacks citations.  The index or TOC is at
