Subject: Lewknor Markham
Natalie Bennett asks about Lewknor Markham, who married Mary Frith:
You may well already know Gustav Ungerer's article "Mary Frith, alias
Moll Cutpurse, in life and literature", _Shakespeare Studies_ 28 (2000):
42-84. If not, it's worth checking out.
There's a good biographical account of Gervase Markham in the intro to
F. N. L. Poynter, _A Bibliography of Gervase Markham, 1568?-1637_
(Oxford Bibliographic Society, 1962).
All the best,
Matt.
