That's a toughie for web genealogists tend to publish mostly
comprehensive numbered lists of people (ahnentafels) rather than easily
comprehended graphical family trees (pedigree charts). I have a
looseleaf collection of photocopied trees, mostly from older history
books, to help sort out the Lancasters, Yorks, Beauforts, Mortimers,
Nevilles, Staffords, etc.--and later the Tudor crowd--with the various
and often multiple intermarriages. Unfortunately, the graphical trees
on the web tend toward the very simple, but maybe that's a start for
classroom use.

Graphical family trees:

Plantagenets to 1485--family tree from a very reliable source:
http://www.royal.gov.uk/files/pdf/plantage.pdf

Tudors and Stuarts--another family tree from Buck House:
http://www.royal.gov.uk/files/pdf/stuarts.pdf

Kings of England--simple family trees but with hint of the York-Lanc
family squabble:
http://home.earthlink.net/~nathanieltaylor/pdfs/p_KingsofEngland.pdf
http://www.yorkist.com/e3-h7/tree.html

Kings of England (incl pre-1066), Kings of Scotland, Princes of Wales,
and more; family trees plus rulers arrayed in dynastic tables, with
notes (the proprietor of this website uses an obscure philosophy of
geography or history as an organizing device but the data is both
comprehensive and reliable):

Kings of France--simple family tree:
http://home.earthlink.net/~nathanieltaylor/pdfs/p_KingsofFrance.pdf

Tudors--family tree:
http://englishhistory.net/tudor/tudortree.bmp

Shakespeare's Kings--somewhat messy graphical/tree:
http://www.geocities.com/Broadway/1906/shakhist.html

Yorks & Lancs--graphic family tree intended for children:
http://www.yorkist.com/e3-h7/genealogy2.html

---------
Tables, lists, indexes:

Kings of England and Scotland--in parallel table:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_British_monarchs

Surname and timeline-oriented index of Plantagenets, Lancs, Yorks,
Tudors, and more:
http://www.hostkingdom.net/engl.html

This index gets you to the rulers of pre-Conquest Britain including such
small kingdoms as Elmet and Pengwern:
http://www.hostkingdom.net/engl.html

These indexes will get you to just about every ruler in Europe and
around the world, so you can locate various Kings of Sicily, Dukes of
Brittany, Counts of Flanders, et al:
